Manly Jazz is returning next month with the promise of good times, good music and good views. The 46th edition of the OG outdoor festival will feature more than 50 excellent artists across four stages over three days in September. Perfect for jazz and music lovers, visitors can expect everything from traditional New Orleans jazz to funk, Latin, fusion, blues, gospel, swing and more. Performers will take over a number of venues across the beachside suburb of Manly.
Manly Jazz
The festival will commence on September 22 and end on September 24. This is a non-ticketed event and completely free to visit. Yes, that’s right. FREE.
Taking over the Manly Corso along with surrounding laneways and streets, the festival will transport locals and visitors to a dreamy music-filled world. The beachfront views and easy vibe add to the atmosphere of the festival.
Participating artists include the Sydney Conservatorium Big Band, House of Bop, Cope Street Parade, JC Stylles & Andrew Dickesons Manhattan Project and more. The line-up also includes John Morrison All Stars featuring John Hoffman, Queen Porter Stomp and Andy Firth Quartet. Visitors can also expect exceptional music from local community acts and schools.
Stages will be set up across Manly Beachfront, Sydney Road, Manly Town Hall forecourt and St Matthews Church with additional entertainment provided by roving performers along the Corso and Manly Wharf.
Additional acts will be announced soon. In the meantime, check out the full program on the Northern Beaches website.
