If you thought the Pylon Lookout was an unlikely location for a restaurant, you might want to think again. Celebrity chef Luke Mangan is serving up a culinary experience like no other — inside the Harbour Bridge and surrounded by harbour views. The project has been in the works for many years and promises a true blue Aussie experience. Sydneysiders with a penchant for good food and excellent views can rejoice because Luke’s Table at the Pylon Lookout is now open.
Luke’s Table at the Pylon Lookout
Located on the Lookout level of the Sydney Harbour Bridge South-East Pylon, BridgeClimb has joined forces with Mangan to make this possible.
The menu includes a signature three-course menu by Mangan and his team. Featuring the finest Aussie ingredients, menu items will include oysters, champagne, sashimi and seared beef fillet. There’s also meringue for dessert and Penfolds wine. You’ll be met with champagne on arrival and share the intimate experience only with 20 other guests.
And it’s not just the dinner and drinks that make dining at Luke’s Table a memorable experience. Guests will climb 200 stairs to get to the historic Pylon, 87 metres above sea level. Along with a stunning bird’s eye view, you can also hear from one of the resident BridgeClimb experts who will take you through the bridge’s rich history.
This unique experience runs only until late December with more dates to be announced soon. Of course, a dining event like this comes with a lavish price tag but it’s not an experience you’ll soon forget. Get working on your Sydney bucket list and snag a spot before it’s too late.
