The Lotus crew is expanding out of the CBD and making its presence felt in Sydney’s thriving inner west. Lotus Dumpling Bar, Summer Hill is the latest offering from the Lotus Dining Group and it’s all about their signature dumplings, shared plates and an extensive drinks menu to dazzle your tastebuds. The new inner west location is a moody space, complete with exposed brick walls, intimate banquettes and sleek timber tables.

Set to be your new late night dining spot, the restaurant and bar offers a new Cantonese style menu with eight different dumplings and a range of dishes designed exclusively for the new outpost.
Menu highlights include the vegan five spice tofu and black fungus mushroom dumplings and spicy Dan Dan noodles with dry chilli oil and crushed peanuts. The signature XO scallops with Chinese dipping donuts come highly recommended. Vegans and vegetarians will be delighted with the number of options on site designed by Lotus Dining Group’s Head Chef, Steve Wu and Summer Hill Head Chef Chris Tsao.
Also on the menu is a specially curated drinks menu with everything from wine to craft beer and cocktail aplenty. A notable highlight is a ‘Riesling Bar’ — a dedicated section of the menu that focuses solely on the popular wine varietal.
Apart from the excellent menu, the sleek space offers a casual and moody dining experience, ideal for intimate catch ups and dinner dates.
The new Lotus Dumpling Bar is now open for bookings in Summer Hill.
