Your crew’s next night out has just levelled up ten fold because Sydney’s first-ever augmented reality darts venue has officially opened in Darlinghurst. Although a trusty fixture in most RSL’s and pubs around town at one point, dart boards have inevitably been edged out by newer activities. La Di Darts by Funlab puts an innovative spin to this pub classic by making darts…digital.
La Di Darts by Funlab
Launching next to Darlinghurst’s eternally buzzing Holey Moley outpost. La Di Darts is primed to revive the lost pub tradition complete with a bespoke cocktail and Gatsby themed private booths.
So how exactly does this brand new gamified experience work? Basically the dart boards utilise a projected field of play and a traditional dart board. Darts are thrown at the board and the scores are then captured electronically in real time. To make it even more immersive, in true Funlab style, attendees can take and assign their own pictures to their avatars which will then be featured on the big screen.

Highlights
Forget sticky pub carpets and claustrophobic spaces. At La Di Darts, you can look forward to chaise lounges, feather boas, jazzy neon art and curated cocktails. And yes, dart classics such as ‘Killer’ and ‘Disco Wall’ are all on the program. There’s also ‘Robin Hood’, which sees the dartboard morph into an archery target in a race to the most points.
If you’re feeling peckish after throwing some darts, head down to the bar for a variety of pub grub and drinks. On the menu are brisket and cheese steak sandos along with pizzas, corn ribs, sliders and more.
As for drinks, La Di Darts comes with its own customised cocktail menu. Drinks include ‘The Bullseye’ (of course), a fruity concoction, served in an OTT peacock glass along with their own version of a Negroni, served in hip flask alongside a short glass with ice.
It all sounds like heaps of fun. Switch up your next business meeting venue or try something a little different for date night. You can book your private booth sessions for 60-90 minutes or just head down and unwind at their stunning bar.
