Guns N’ Roses are bringing Paradise City back down under, locking in a seven-date stadium blitz across Australia and New Zealand as part of their World Tour 2026—and they’re not coming alone.
Australian hard rock juggernaut Airbourne will join every show, setting the pace for one of the loudest tours of the summer.
Guns N’ Roses Australia & NZ Dates
Fresh from a huge 2025 run through Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America, the classic GNR core of Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan will hit some of the biggest venues in the country with full-scale production.
It marks their first major return to the region since their recent touring wave, following a record-setting run that previously saw more than 350,000 tickets snapped up across Australia and New Zealand.
The tour lands at:
- Sunday, 29th November—bp Adelaide Grand Final, Adelaide
- Wednesday, 2nd December—Queensland Country Bank Stadium, Townsville
- Saturday, 5th December—Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
- Tuesday, 8th December—McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle
- Friday, 11th December—Marvel Stadium, Melbourne
- Monday, 14th December—ENGIE Stadium, Sydney
- Thursday, 17th December—Eden Park Stadium, Auckland
Townsville, Brisbane, Newcastle and Sydney general tickets go on sale Friday, 13th March at 1pm local time, with Melbourne and Auckland on sale the same day at 12pm local.
Rockin’ Out To New Music With Old-School Chaos

The 2026 shows land in the middle of a genuine new chapter for Guns N’ Roses, with the band rolling in behind two fresh singles, “Nothin’” and “Atlas”. “Atlas” leans into big, urgent rock dynamics, while “Nothin’” slows the pace with keys, introspection and one of Slash’s most emotional solos in years—critics have praised the pair for channelling both the grit of their Appetite era and the grander scope of the Use Your Illusion years.
Those tracks arrive after an already packed reunion era, kicked off by the Not In This Lifetime… tour, which sold more than five million tickets worldwide and re-established the band as a stadium powerhouse.
So, for Australian and New Zealand fans, that history means setlists that typically swing from “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Sweet Child O’ Mine” through to deeper cuts and reimagined newer material, backed by a full band that now includes long-time keyboardist Dizzy Reed, guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Isaac Carpenter and multi-instrumentalist Melissa Reese.
Airbourne Turn Up The Volume

If Guns N’ Roses provide the myth, Airbourne bring the sweat. The Warrnambool-formed outfit have built an international reputation for AC/DC-adjacent, beer-soaked anthems and punishing live shows, making them a natural fit to open for GNR on home soil.
For Aussie rock fans, it means each night is effectively a mini hard-rock festival: a local band raised on pub stages priming crowds for one of the genre’s most recognisable names. Their addition also nudges this run beyond simple nostalgia.
Airbourne’s presence underlines how much of GNR’s legacy lives in newer bands who push the same high-voltage ethos into another generation of crowds.
How To Get Tickets & Presale Access
With demand historically intense—their last full Australian and New Zealand cycle moved hundreds of thousands of tickets—organisers are rolling out multiple presale options before the general on-sale.
Nightrain Fan Club members get first access, followed by an Artist Presale via Ticketmaster sign-up, then bank and partner presales including Mastercard/Westpac, Live Nation members and Westfield members across both countries.
To maximise your chances, you’ll need a Ticketmaster account set up in advance, a clear idea of which city you’re targeting, and log in before on-sale times—particularly for Melbourne and Sydney, which historically move fastest.
Full tour, ticketing and VIP information—including “Priceless” experiences for Mastercard cardholders that can include onstage photo opportunities and VIP lounge access—is available via Live Nation in Australia and New Zealand.
So, which city are you most likely to travel to for this tour: your home city or are you willing to hop state lines for the best date?
