Almost everyone loves dogs. Big dogs, little dogs, fluffy dogs. And now Sydney is getting it’s very own doggy cafe this November designed exclusively to cater to your puppy-lovin’ heart. There’s brunch, coffee, a super cute photo booth and puppies — many, many puppies. The Guide Dogs café pop-up is a one-day only event with only 180 spots available so you’ll want to get in fast and snag a spot. This little space is already gearing up to be just about the cutest thing ever.
Guide Dogs Café pop-up
What’s a better way to de-stress than cuddling with some labrador puppies? This is a rhetorical question btw.
You can also look forward to a plushie dog toy ball pit, a pooch-themed photo booth for all the pictures, tasty treats and lots of tea and coffee. All while you play with puppies and have the time of your life.
Wondering what the catch is? Absolutely nothing at all. The cafe simply aims to raise awareness about the brilliant work Guide Dogs NSW have been doing in helping those with vision impairment.
As part of the experience, guests will also get the opportunity to chat to people in the low vision and blind community about how their Guide Dog has helped them navigate life.
“It takes over two years and costs $50,000 to breed, raise and train each life changing Guide Dog, including the pups we’ll have at our café. Through this event we want to recognise the crucial role all of our dogs play in helping Australians living with low vision and blindness lead a life without limits,” Guide Dog Mobility Instructor Ryan Jones said.
Mark your calendars for October 17 which is when tickets go on sale. Tickets will set you back by $40 but it’ll be worth it from the sound of it.
