If you love dogs, you’ll be happy to know that Guide Dogs NSW/ACT is bringing back its puppy pop-up cafe to cater exclusively to your puppy-lovin’ heart. There’s brunch, coffee, a super cute photo booth and puppies — lots of puppies. The Guide Dogs café pop-up is a one-day-only event with only limited spots available and it’s about the cutest thing ever. This follows the first-ever Guide Dog Café in November 2022, where tickets sold out in under a minute so you’ll want to get in fast. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect.
Guide Dogs Café pop-up
What’s a better way to de-stress than cuddling with some labrador puppies? (This is a rhetorical question btw.)
You can also look forward to a plushie dog toy ball pit, a pooch-themed photo booth for all the pictures, tasty treats from The Naked Duck, and tea and coffee.
Wondering what the catch is? There’s none. The cafe simply aims to celebrate International Guide Dog Day along with dog lovers and raise awareness about the brilliant work Guide Dogs NSW has been doing in helping those with vision impairment.
“Following the success of our 2022 Guide Dog Café, International Guide Dog Day felt like the perfect occasion to bring the much-loved event back to the people of Sydney,” Ryan Jones, Guide Dog Mobility Instructor from Guide Dogs NSW/ACT said.
“This year we are focused on our Guide Dog Handlers and the important role our beautiful Guide Dogs play in helping the blind and low vision community to live independently.”
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 26 which is when tickets go on sale. There will be two sessions open to the public from 8am – 9am and 12pm – 2pm. Tickets can be purchased upon entry. Get more info here.
