So what’s on offer? Let’s start with the food. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’re in for a serious treat. Grab a decadent vanilla
bean panna cotta topped with gin-infused rhubarb and raspberry or dig into a matcha & yuzu choux au craquelin. There’s also the classic scones with cream and jam and delightful lemon-glazed butter madeleines.
As for savoury options, expect sandwiches, cajun prawn remoulade with charred lemon served on a brioche bun, and more. The menu also includes a myriad of tea offerings from the classic to the rare.
Among it’s notable aspects are the botanical-themed interiors boasting of glass terrariums, warm tones, florals and greens galore. The vibrant, but subtle colour palette adds to the overall relaxed atmosphere of the place allowing diners to take a step back and unwind.
As the day moves into night, the G&Tea bar transforms into a gin lover’s haven slinging some fine gins and delicious cocktails. The Hummingbird Splice with roku gin, frangelico, pineapple
and lime, anyone?
The high tea will cost you a reasonable $55 per person. For an additional cost of $10 you can grab a sparkling wine or champagne for $20.
Don’t be surprised if you end up staying all day.
