There’s no dearth of markets in Sydney but we’re always keen for more. Thankfully the city is chock-full of local shopping haunts and now Cambridge Markets is adding another one to the mix: A new gourmet produce market. Set to connect some of Sydney’s best producers, farmers, roasters and gourmet retailers with city workers and locals, the activation arrives this November at Quay Quarter Lanes.

The 40-stall market will feature a number of beloved Sydney retailers including Zini Gelato, Adora Chocolates and Bubble Nini Teas. Also set to participate are food stall holders like Brickfields, Berliner Bakery, Savannah Estate Winery, Brother Mountain Macadamias, Le Saucier pasta sauces and Bacca cured meats. As you shop away, you can treat yourself to a coffee and pastry from CBD restaurant, Grana or grab some tacos from Jeerys and tasty, gooey treats from Thicc Cookies.
Shoppers can look forward to filling their bags with a range of products. There’s fresh fruit and vegetables, organics and gourmet breads along with fresh pasta and sauces. Plus find meats, cheese, cakes, small goods, spices and coffee. Finish off your shopping by grabbing some fresh flowers to brighten the day. There’ll also be live music on-site to keep you entertained.
Much like the beloved Sydney Vegan Market which takes place on the third Sunday of every month, the gourmet produce market is set to be a monthly affair on the second Wednesday of the month.
Nestled between Young and Loftus streets in the heart of the CBD, Quay Quater Lanes is Sydney’s newest lifestyle precinct. Home to a number of bakeries and bars, its portfolio is continuing to grow with a number of Sydney bigwigs joining the show like Skittle Lane and Adora.
