Spring is coming which means it’s appropriate to give in to dopamine dressing, bold hues and florals galore. Elevate and embrace your personal style with the help of a brand new fashion festival called Full Bloom. Extending a warm invitation to women of all shapes and backgrounds, the festival is coming to seven locations in Sydney, Brisbane, and the Sunshine Coast. Mirvac Retail, body-positive fashion app Mys Tyler, and body image experts Taryn Brumfitt and Dr Zali Yager of The Embrace Hub join forces for this month-long event.
Full Bloom Fashion Festival
From September 1, professional stylists will take over a number of retail spaces across the city for masterclasses and workshops. The workshops aim to encourage women to embrace their bodies and dress with confidence. With a total of 30 events planned across the two states, you can also score a free one on one styling session through the event website. Stylists of ages 20-60 will be on-site to guide you through the event.
Additionally, a series of screenings have been planning specifically to keep kids busy while you do your thing. Get excited for inclusive fashion shows, Q&As, fashion and beauty offers and giveaways and heaps more.
Various talks and discussions will also take a closer look at diversity in fashion and the hot topic of sustainability. Topics like style through the ages and corporate dressing in a post-covid world will be dissected.
The Full Bloom Fashion Festival comes to town from late August to early October. Key venues are Broadway Sydney, Birkenhead Point Outlet Centre, Greenwood Plaza (North Sydney), Met Centre, Stanhope Village, Kawana Shoppingworld and Orion Springfield Central. Find the full program of events here.
