Get your kick of escapism this winter with Eternityland — an interactive experience that will immerse you in a whimsical world filled with theatrical storytelling, circus performances, art and music. This unique experience blurs the line between participant and spectator with fun times promised for all. Designed as a ‘choose-your-own-journey’, participants will traipse through multiple rooms where they encounter fun and wacky characters and activities based on myths and legends.
Eternityland, Wynyard
As you walk through the many interactive rooms, you’ll be met with adventure after adventure. There’ll be monsters to battle, bars to discover and temptations to avoid as chaos ensues all around.
Conceptualised by arts event curator Danielle Harvey, Eternityland officially opens on August 17 with 2 weeks of previews set to begin on August 3. Instagram enthusiasts can look forward to 20 dazzling spaces begging to be clicked along with a slew of fun characters on the ride.
There’s a cool Cowboy, a villainous Clown, a crooning Mr Money, a Mother (of monsters), a loyal but lazy Knight, a very lost Royal, and a retired Warrior and a bunch of minions and sidekicks to bring on the laughs.
Harvey promises a ‘Squid Game or Westworld’ like experience at Eternityland with a blend of epic adventures and collision of myth and magic.
The audience is welcomed to join in on the fun and participate along with the performers or sit back and enjoy the show as per preference. The pop up is in town until August 28 only so make sure you snag some tickets before they sell out. Tickets can be purchased on their official website for just $44 with a slew of entry times available through the day. Get all the info and ticket details here.
