Here’s what you need to know.
The Enchanted Forest — Tides of Treasure

Deep in the heart of Shellharbour, a native forest will come alive after dark. Blackbutt Forest Reserve is the largest natural bushland reserve in the Illawarra, spanning 250 hectares and protecting one of the region’s last remaining pockets of coastal plain forest. Now it’s set to take on a new life with light, sound, and digital art transforming the landscape this May and June.
Back after two sold-out seasons, this dazzling nighttime event from the Laservision team features glowing trails, luminous displays, and sparkling details as you wander through the forest. The theme taps into the region’s coastal identity, with immersive installations, dreamy soundscapes, and thrilling special effects, designed to transport visitors into an underwater world.

Highlights include interactive projections and holograms, touch-sensitive light spheres, glowing bioluminescent effects, and a misty ocean scene dotted with drifting sea creatures. Food trucks will be on-site with tasty treats like pizza, ice cream, coffee, donuts, and more. It’s the perfect weekend getaway as the temperature dips — grab your tickets here.
