French electronic music is heading to Sydney this October, with Electro Merveilles set to bring an international lineup, Australian DJs and a French Touch soundtrack to the University of Sydney.
The new event series will finish with an open-air French Touch party on Sunday, 25th October 2026, taking over Manning Bar Open-Air at Manning House from 3pm to 10pm.
French producer Tchami will headline alongside Australian electronic artist Tigerlily, with Alex Hosking, Mowgli May and Fred B Side also on the bill, plus local guest DJs.
Moreover, the Sydney event follows two nights at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, where Electro Merveilles will create a 360° immersive electronic music experience using monumental projections, lighting and digital art.
“We are not bringing a show to Australia—we are bringing France itself,” says Jean-Pierre Ferrand, co-founder of Allegria and creator of Merveilles. “You don’t watch France. You walk through it.”
A seven-hour outdoor party at the University of Sydney
Sydney’s edition of Electro Merveilles will take the series outdoors. Manning Bar Open-Air will host the seven-hour afternoon-to-night party, with the dancefloor opening at 3pm and continuing until 10pm.
Tchami is one of the biggest names in French electronic music, having helped popularise future house internationally. He is the founder of the Confession label and has collaborated with artists including Lady Gaga.
He’ll headline alongside Tigerlily, one of Australia’s best-known electronic artists, who has performed at festivals including Ultra and Lollapalooza. Also appearing is Fred B Side, a French DJ with roots in the 1990s rave scene and a residency at Paris’ Rex Club.
His inclusion gives the lineup a connection to the underground side of French electronic music, alongside Tchami’s more globally recognised sound. The event will cost $69 per ticket.
Also, the Australian contingent includes Alex Hosking, a DJ, singer, songwriter and producer known for her chart-topping collaborations. She’ll be joined by Mowgli May, an emerging electronic artist who has appeared at Falls Festival, Listen Out and Field Day.
