Sydney’s night market scene continues to expand across the city, with a growing number of suburbs introducing regular after-dark events focused on food, live entertainment and local vendors. Following strong interest in new markets across places like Epping and Homebush in recent weeks, another Western Sydney hub is now joining the mix. After launching its first edition in April, Bankstown’s new monthly evening market, Eat Drink Nights, returns this weekend with a focus on international street food and cuisines reflecting some of Sydney’s most diverse communities. Designed as a recurring community event, the market transforms a local park into a lively evening destination with 25+ food stalls, music and family-friendly entertainment. Here’s everything you need to know about the new market.
Bankstown’s new night market returns this weekend

Bankstown has been changing rapidly in recent years, with major transport upgrades, new apartment developments and a growing food scene continuing to reshape the area. Already known for its strong multicultural identity and wide range of dining options, the suburb is also quietly becoming a destination for food-focused events in Western Sydney.
Eat Drink Nights brings many of those flavours together under one rood for a monthly evening market at Paul Keating Reserve. The line-up spans everything from dumplings and barbecue to Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Thai and Filipino cuisine, alongside desserts, specialty drinks and sweet treats. The event also includes live music and family-friendly activities throughout the evening, with open seating areas designed to encourage people to linger and enjoy the evening.
