One of Sydney’s fastest-growing suburbs is getting its first-ever night market, with a new monthly event launching in Epping tonight. Taking place at Boronia Park, the market is designed to bring a regular after-dark offering to the area, with food, entertainment and artisan vendors coming together in a relaxed, outdoor setting. It marks a notable addition for the suburb, which is undergoing rapid change, with population growth driving stronger demand for more local, community-focused events. Here’s everything you need to know about the new market.
Night markets set to launch in Epping
Running as part of a one-year trial, the market will take place on the last Friday of each month, kicking off on April 24. More than 30 stalls are expected to be on site, offering a mix of street food, artisan goods and local vendors, alongside live music and roving entertainment throughout the evening. Backed by the City of Parramatta, the initiative has received strong support during community consultation, with the trial intended to establish a regular evening event while providing a platform for local businesses and traders to engage directly with residents.
