Christmas and Harry Potter go together like cupcakes and frosting, a perfect pair. It’s the ideal cosy binge for the holiday season, magical, joyful, and nostalgic. While we don’t have snow and winter vibes here in Sydney, there’s still plenty of holiday magic in the air. This year, Sydney’s largest Christmas tree farm has embraced the spirit of the season with a Harry Potter-themed display and it’s a must-visit for the holidays. The Dural Christmas Tree Farm is decked out with broomsticks, cauldrons, and Golden Snitches — and it’s completely free to visit.
Harry Potter display, Dural Christmas Tree Farm
You only have a few days to catch a glimpse of this magical display, because it’s only in town until Sunday, December 15. Complete with a treasure trove of Harry Potter-inspired decorations and callbacks, visitors will be treated to 50 beautiful growing Christmas trees decked out with broomsticks, cauldrons to Ron’s flying car, Hedwig the owl, and Golden Snitches.
The perfectly Instagrammable display also features a grand gated entrance, framed by iconic moments from the series. Step through to find floating candles from the Great Hall, lifelike Dobby statues, and giant Harry Potter glasses and wands, the perfect spot for a photo op.
For over 20 years, Dural Christmas Tree Farm has been Sydney’s go-to destination for fresh trees as high as 16 feet. Visit their website to see what’s on this year.
