Din Tai Fung has put a number of inventive twists to their famous dumplings over the years. Remember their cheerful tiger buns earlier this year? And we’re still not over their sublime Nutella-filled hot cross Easter buns. Now you can say hello to their colourful Christmas dumplings — Australia’s first-ever mochi xiao long bao packed with chocolatey goodness.
Din Tai Fung’s Christmas dumplings
It’s perfectly acceptable to go a bit OTT for Christmas, in fact, it’s encouraged. Which is why the legends at Din Tai Fung are slinging a basket of dumplings filled with festive goodness.
We’re talking chocolate truffle enveloped in a thin layer of mochi, wrapped within their signature dumpling pastry. Their Christmas menu also includes Wagyu Beef Bao with Truffle Mayonnaise, Crisp-fried Prawns with Yuzu Sauce and much more.
The Christmas dumplings drop on Monday, November 28, handmade and steamed fresh to order. The dumplings are only available while stocks last so get in fast to avoid missing out. Find your nearest location here.
