‘Tis the season to be pink.
Daniel San, the Manly beach ”chow-down bar and rooftop dojo”, is once again celebrating Mr Miyagi’s heritage with a five-week festival dedicated to the seasonal flowering of Japan’s Cherry Blossoms. And, they’re doing it in style!
From 23 September to 31 October, Daniel San will not only don pink from the floor to the rafters, but they will also decorate the space with a small forest of Cherry Blossoms, meaning that we’re now feeling alright with not being able to fly to Japan, gather in groups, drink, sing and eat beneath these gorgeous trees. It eases our pain.
The Okinawa-inspired Rock ‘n’ Roll bar celebrates the quirky and colourful aspects of Japanese culture, so it’s pretty clear that they will be taking pink to its absolute limit.
Diners will be served up pink pork bao buns, mochi-ball skewers, and even cherry-blossom infused sushi alongside a Sakura cocktail menu featuring pink twists on three of your favourites—the Martini, the Bellini, and the Gin Fizz.
But to really pop your cherry’s blossom at Daniel San’s month-long festival, then go no further than the Bottomless Bellinis Package. For just $59 per person, you’ll be able to savour as many pink Bellinis as possible while sampling a tickled-pink Sakura tasting plate.
