Ryan “The Brickman” McNaught is the southern hemisphere’s most skilled brick artist. As well as having been featured on LEGO® Masters, the master LEGO® creator has been the mastermind behind some of the city’s and country’s latest LEGO® exhibitions, including Jurassic World.
This summer at Phive in the City of Parramatta, the LEGO® master has made it easy for residents to travel the world thanks to Brickman Cities: Build the Future exhibition. Featuring more than 628,000 LEGO® bricks assembled over more than 2200 hours, visitors to the exhibition are able to see some of the world’s most iconic cityscapes. There are landmarks to see, famous city streets to eye and city coastlines to marvel at.
From Tokyo’s Shibuya Crossing to the skyscrapers of Dubai, our very own Sydney to lower Manhattan, the centrepiece build of the exhibition, there are 21 works in total to see. But that’s not all there is to do at Phive, Western Sydney’s newest community, cultural and civic hub.
Guests will also get to try their hand at building their own cities thanks to the team hauling in more than two million LEGO® bricks. Whether they build from their imagination or use an existing city as a model, it’s all up to the creator.
Brickman Cities is on now at Phive and can be experienced until 17 April 2023. Tickets start at $12.
