Sydney winter markets are a great vibe — personal fire pits, delicious hot food and mulled wine just hit different when it’s sweater weather outside. If you’re always on the hunt for a new market to explore, check out the Blacktown Drive-In Markets, located at the Skyline Drive-In, Sydney’s last remaining drive-in theatre. Every Sunday, the markets bring to life food stalls serving hot and hearty treats, vintage collectibles, dessert stalls, pre-loved fashion and much more.
Blacktown Drive-In Markets
Whether you’re gift shopping or looking for a bargain, you’re bound to find something exciting in this buzzing spot. It’s also perfect to grab a cheap eat and enjoy a cosy drink or two. On the menu is everything from Dutch pancakes to Maori hangi, coffee and more. There’s over 200 stalls to browse through so expect to find some special nick-nacks on the way.
Occasionally, the markets also host live music and a jumping castle for kids. This is a weekly market, held every Sunday from 6.30am to 2pm and they charge a small fee for visitors at $1 for walk-ins and $2 per person for people who’re driving in. Head here for more information about the markets.
