Buy From the Bush first made an appearance in Sydney in 2019 with thousands of locals in attendance. The grassroots movement has played a pivotal role in connecting the bush to the city by bringing the very best rural businesses to the forefront. Returning this weekend, in its first edition since before covid, the markets will once again set up shop in the CBD in an effort to raise funds for flood-impacted areas.

Along with its very festive Christmas program, The Rocks will welcome the markets to its December line-up of attractions for the very first time.
Expect an array of locally-sourced products including art, gifts, homewares, fashion, baby accessories and fresh produce from 20 vendors.
To add to the sale yard vibe, the markets will host an auction called an ‘Hour For Eugowra’, aiming to raise funds for flood-affected areas through the sale of donated items including artworks, R.M Williams Boots and exclusive signed vinyl. There is also a luxury farm stay near Bathurst and a weekend getaway to Boorowa up for grabs.
Buy from the Bush launched in 2019 and has since developed quite the social media following for its sustained efforts towards empowering small businesses. Since its inception, the markets have showcased over 180 makers, creators, artists and retailers from the bush. City dwellers have equally reciprocated by showing up in huge numbers to lend their support. With Christmas around the corner, this is the perfect opportunity to get all your shopping done under one roof, explore the lovely offerings of the bush and help out flood-affected communities while you’re at it.
