Yulefest 2026 returns to the Blue Mountains this July
Held throughout July, Yulefest sees venues across the Blue Mountains embrace the spirit of a traditional Northern Hemisphere Christmas, with restaurants, hotels and guesthouses serving festive menus and hosting a range of special events. Visitors can tuck into hearty multi-course Christmas dinners, enjoy long lunches complete with all the trimmings and soak up the festive atmosphere beside crackling fireplaces and twinkling decorations.
This year’s program features everything from Christmas-in-July dinners at the historic Mountain Heritage Hotel and Palais Royale in Katoomba to special celebrations at Fairmont Resort in Leura, where guests can enjoy live entertainment, family activities and even indoor snowfall. There are also several one-off events on the calendar, including the Christmas-in-July Twilight Market at The Lookout in Katoomba, where visitors can browse artisan stalls while taking in spectacular sunset views over the Jamison Valley. Meanwhile, the Winter Wonderland Market in Blackheath promises a magical evening of twinkling lights, artisan stalls, live entertainment and delicious food. Elsewhere, venues such as Bygone Beautys in Leura and the Victoria & Albert Guesthouse in Mount Victoria are also embracing the Christmas spirit with themed lunches and dinners.
