Beyonce Renaissance tour
Renaissance is Beyonce’s seventh studio album and has unsurprisingly made waves since it first dropped in July this year. Part of a trilogy project, the album has received widespread critical acclaim with lead single Break My Soul reaching number one on many charts worldwide. It also debuted on number 1 at the US Billboard 200 chart and made it to number 1 in many countries around the globe including Australia.
Taking to her Instagram, Beyonce wrote about how she created the album during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving,” her statement said.
The Grammy-award winning singer is expected to bring her tour to Australia somewhere towards late 2023 or early 2024. She joins a growing list of artists who are touring Australia next year including Harry Styles and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
