Back at the onset of winter Baileys dropped a sublime Cinnamon Churros flavour. Now with spring around the corner, they’re launching what could be the perfect boozy beverage for a cosy night in. Baileys Espresso Crème Flavoured Liqueur has recently launched in Australia and it combines a few fail-safe things we all love — creamy Baileys (of course), coffee and chocolate. They had us at coffee and chocolate but to take it a step further, they’ve also dropped a sublime Tiramisu Martini recipe if you’re feeling extra indulgent.
Check out the recipe below:
Ingredients: 100ml Baileys Espresso Crème Flavoured Liqueur, 100ml strong hot coffee, 20g chopped chocolate, 2tbsp soft brown sugar, 60g lady finger biscuits, 120g mascarpone, Cocoa powder, chocolate coffee beans and chocolate flakes to garnish.
Method
· Mix the hot coffee with the sugar and chocolate until smooth. Leave aside to cool.
· Blend the Baileys and biscuit crumbs with four ice cubes in a blender or smoothie maker until smooth.
· Put the mascarpone in a bowl, add about a third of the Baileys mixture and mix together with a little balloon whisk until smooth. Fold in the rest with a spoon.
· Pour the coffee mixture into two martini cocktail glasses, then spoon over the Baileys mascarpone mix. Dust with the cocoa powder then sprinkle over coffee beans, chocolate flakes and curls.
You can find a 700ml bottle of Baileys Espresso Crème Flavoured Liqueur at BWS or Dan Murphy’s for a limited time only. It’ll set you back by $37.99 but from the sound of it, it’ll be worth it. Like most Baileys flavours, you can enjoy this one neat, with a splash of hot chocolate or poured over a scoop of ice cream. Find more Baileys recipes here.
