Get Your Drink On At The Fabulous Australian Cocktail Month

Drink makers and drink lovers– listen up!

The inaugural Australian Cocktail Month is a month-long cocktail celebration. Founded by industry figure Penny Sippe who rounded out Australia’s top ten influential bartenders in 2019, the inaugural Australian Cocktail Month will be taking over Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide for a month of specially-curated cocktails. From May 1 to May 31, participating bars in Sydney have put together an exclusive menu for Australian Cocktail Month ticket holders. The tickets, which are valid in all four cities and for the entire month of May, are just $20 + $4 fees.

In Sydney, there are 18 bars (out of the total 72) that will be participating in the festival’s first edition. These include Bartolo, Big Poppa’s, Double Deuce, The Duke of Clarence, Jangling Jack’s and many other premiere bars. To find more information on participating bars as well as the cocktails that they have concocted for the month of May, click here.

To get access to the exclusive menu, which is different at each bar, all you need to do is get your hands on the $20 ticket and present it at any of the participating venues. Not only will you be able to choose from the special menu, but you will also get the discounted price too—$14 for cocktails and $10 mocktails. That’s right — a single ticket can get you the discount for all the bars at the festival.

A number of high-profile international and local brands have gotten behind the initiative as well, which means that our best bartenders have been given plenty more products to work with. Show them your support and get behind the hospitality industry this May by drinking some amazing cocktails. Sounds like something we are going to do when May rolls around.

Tickets to the first Australian Cocktail Month are on sale now.
