Oran Park is about to get its first hotel, and it’s arriving with motorsport DNA, a resort-style pool and an Italian-inspired restaurant and bar designed to pull in both locals and travellers.
Atura Oran Park, an 184-room property developed by the Perich family and operated by EVT Hotels & Resorts under its Atura brand, is on track to open in October 2026 in the centre of Oran Park Town.
Positioned roughly 20 minutes from the new Western Sydney International Airport, the six-storey hotel will bring a new place to stay, eat, work and gather to one of South Western Sydney’s fastest-growing areas.
A hotel built for a booming growth corridor
The project marks the latest phase in the long-term transformation of the former Oran Park Raceway into a masterplanned community, with the hotel designed as more than a spot to sleep.
Alongside its rooms, the property will feature nine ground-floor retail tenancies, an Italian-inspired restaurant and café, dedicated function and meeting spaces, and generous communal areas.
Outside, a large pool area will bring a bar and additional event spaces, giving the hotel a resort-style edge for both guests and locals. The development will also include a basement car park and mezzanine level for back-of-house services.
Rooms designed for short stays and longer visits
The 184 rooms and suites will cater to everything from overnight stays to longer visits, with room types including Roomy, Neighbourhood Twin and Family.
For guests after more space, the Biggy (with a balcony) and Homey rooms will offer larger layouts, alongside accessible and balcony options and family accommodation.
The design draws on Oran Park’s racing heritage and the Perich family’s history, giving the hotel a sense of place that feels connected to its surroundings.
“Closest hotel to the new airport”
Shannon Craig, Area General Manager of Atura Oran Park, says the hotel’s location will play a major role as the region continues to grow.
“We’re opening at a time when South Western Sydney is experiencing extraordinary growth and momentum, and being the closest hotel to the new Western Sydney International Airport puts us in a commanding position to support travellers in and out of Sydney,” she said.
Craig says the team wanted to create a hotel that feels “open, vibrant and full of energy”, with “beautiful communal spaces, generous outdoor areas and places where people naturally want to spend time”.
She says the rooms will cater to “both overnight visits and extended stays”, while drawing on “the region’s motorsport ties and the Perich family’s heritage, creating a strong sense of place and connection to the neighbourhood that sits at the very heart of Atura”.
A new gathering place for Oran Park
For the Perich family, the hotel forms part of the wider vision for Oran Park Town Centre, bringing accommodation, dining, retail and event spaces into the growing precinct.
Mark Perich says the family wanted the hotel to become part of Oran Park’s wider community. “Every element of Oran Park has been thoughtfully considered to create a connected and thriving community, and we wanted our first hotel to reflect that same approach, embedded in the heart of the town centre,” he said.
“Atura stood out because of its focus on people, neighbourhood connection and creating places where locals and visitors naturally come together.”
When Atura Oran Park opens at 135 Podium Way, Oran Park in October 2026, the hotel will bring tons of rooms and suites, an Italian-inspired restaurant and café, flexible function and meeting spaces, nine ground-floor retail tenancies and a large outdoor pool with its own bar and event spaces.
