Credited with birthing the symphonic film score, Erich Wolfgang Korngold’s 1945 Violin Concerto takes audiences on an unforgettable musical journey. And you can witness this masterpiece brought to life by two of Germany’s most renowned figures in classical music, Rosa Donata Milton and her husband Dr Nicholas Milton AM.
Rosa Donata Milton is one of Germany’s most exceptional violinists, and will give breathtaking solos alongside the outstanding Willoughby Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra’s internationally acclaimed Chief Conductor and Artistic Director Dr Nicholas Milton AM will lead the musicians through the five movements of this iconic symphony. Charged with drama and emotion, this virtuosic showpiece is guaranteed to leave your hair standing on end.
The exhilarating performance will conclude with a rendition of Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique. This semi-autobiographical piece conveys the turbulent emotions of an artist infatuated with his beloved.
