Rise up above the crowds and experience Vivid Sydney from the city’s most iconic vantage point – The Sydney Harbour Bridge.
If crowds are not your thing but you still want to experience the city in all of its magical light, then the Sydney Harbour Bridge’s Vivid Climb allows you to just that. (Featured image: @bridgeclimb)
With uninterrupted views of the illuminated Sydney Opera House and other harbourside buildings and venues, Vivid climbers will get to experience the magic of the southern hemisphere’s largest festival of light, music and ideas from 130 metres in the sky.
Exclusively throughout the duration of Vivid Sydney, groups of 14 people at a time will get to experience the ‘high’-lights of the festival. Some will even get to experience the ‘switch-on’ moment when the city explodes into colour. Hear the crowds underneath marvel and awe at the light sculptures, light mappings and large-scale installations as music soundtracks the night from the streets below.

Unfortunately, but for very good reason, no camera equipment of any kind can be taken up on the bridge climb unless otherwise specified by Bridgeclimb Sydney. However, the photography-trained Climb Leaders will capture photos of you during the climb and can be purchased separately. However, you will get one free group photo as part of the experience as well as access to the Pylon Lookout where you can take some snaps of the harbour.
