For many of us, love is hard to put into words. Almost impossible. It’s a feeling difficult to convey. Yet where words fail, music steps in to take its place and evoke sensations that surpass anything that we can come up with. If you struggle when it comes to romance and sweet words, the supremely talented pianist Van-Anh Nguyen is stepping in with a couple of friends to whisk you and your beloved away this Valentine’s.
Together with cellist Ezmi Pepper and powerhouse singer Reigan Derry, the trio will take to the stage at the stunning Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace on Valentine’s Day Eve for a breathtaking program of romantic, sweet and starry-eyed songs.
Let music do the talking this Valentine’s.
The Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace in Cremorne is one of Sydney’s most beautiful cinemas. The heritage-listed venue with plush red seating and art-deco theatre design makes for a wonderful location for any date, and much more so on one that celebrates love and fills the air with stirring music.
Led by Aria-chart-topping and concert pianist Van-Anh Nguyen, the evening of enchanting live music includes classical masterpieces such as Debussy’s Clair de Lune and Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody On A Theme of Paganini.
