Just two months into 2023 and Sydney has already been named among the top 10 most Instagrammable places and the second most popular travel destination in the world. The accolades don’t stop there because TripAdvisor has dropped its list of the world’s best beaches and two Aussie beaches have made the cut. Cable Beach in Broome, Western Australia and Sydney’s Manly Beach secured third and thirteenth positions respectively.
Manly Beach surprisingly beat its more popular neighbour, Bondi Beach which sees a huge influx of tourists and locals all year. Meanwhile, Cable Beach, famous for its 22 km stretch of white sand and sunset camel rides took the coveted third spot.
The list was made from millions of reviews submitted by global travellers to the travel site over the last year with choices spanning across the globe from Africa to Asia.
