This holiday season, there are loads of festive things to do there, from checking out the Christmas lights to outdoor festive film screenings, and you get to enjoy them all without leaving Sydney’s metropolitan area.

Did you know: Campbelltown was the filming location for a hilarious Christmas comedy
Filmed in Campbelltown, ‘Christmess’ is a Christmas movie that follows Chris, a former actor played by Steve Le Marquand who’s battling an alcohol addiction. He takes up a new job as a mall Santa where he unexpectedly reunites with his estranged daughter and grandson — and that’s where the story really takes off. It’s a hilarious festive comedy that warms the soul and reminds us what Christmas is all about (while giving us a good laugh along the way).
Looking for festive things to do closer to home too? There are loads of fun things to do in Sydney this Christmas, like this series of Christmas Candlelight concerts. This season, you can choose between a tribute to festive movie soundtracks and classic Christmas carols.
