Some good news for marketgoers: Rosebery’s popular monthly markets are relaunching with a variety of wonderful steals from existing and new vendors. Reopening under the direction of Cambridge Markets, the organisers behind some of the biggest markets in town including the markets in Watsons Bay and the Entertainment Quarter, the markets promise a fresh and vibrant new experience to visitors. Their first market at The Cannery will be held this weekend on May 6 and 7 from 9am to 3pm.
Cannery Markets, Rosebery
Held on the first Saturday and Sunday of the month, the markets feature over 40 stallholders in a warehouse-style space. To make retail therapy a little bit easier, visitors can find a variety of goods across fashion, homewares, art, craft, jewellery, photography, pet goods, toys, clothes and much more. The markets will have an increased focus on high-quality local NSW makers, creators, and artists giving a platform to small and micro businesses from in and around Sydney.
Alongside shopping, some gourmet and global hot food stalls will be on-site to please gastronomes and shopaholics alike.
As for stallholders, grab some gluten-free artisan bakery products from Hudons Bakery or spruce up your personal space with the help of Hohm Interiors. Wrappsody will set up shop selling gorgeous wrapping paper alongside Rawpaw Treats where you can grab Australian-made natural dog treats. Other vendors include Aroma Herbs, Turkish Gozleme House, Hako Tabi, B Positive and many more. Existing vendors like Aldi Cornerstore, Wholefoods House, Three Blue Ducks, Archie Rose and Messina will also be on-site.
