Returning this September, Taste of Harmony will transform Hornsby into a lively hub of international flavours, traditional performances and family-friendly activities, offering visitors the chance to experience customs and cuisines from around the world under one roof. With free entry and a full day of entertainment, it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest multicultural celebrations around the Upper North Shore this spring. What to expect at Taste of Harmony, Hornsby
Food vendors from across the globe will be serving everything from German comfort food and Malaysian favourites to Southern American barbecue, Northern Chinese specialties, flavourful South Indian dishes, Korean street food, Middle Eastern classics and Taiwanese eats. Whether you’re dropping in for lunch or planning to stay through dinner, there’ll be plenty of options to graze your way around the event.
Aside from the food stalls, a packed entertainment program will run throughout the day with cultural performances representing countries including Brazil, China, India, Iran, South America and Africa.
Visitors can also take part in a series of free cultural workshops, offering the chance to learn more about different customs through interactive experiences rather than simply watching from the sidelines. Families are well catered for too, with face painting and dedicated children’s activities adding to the day’s lineup, making the festival an easy option for people of all ages.
