This year round, the much loved culinary event, will be held at Moore Park’s Entertainment Quarter.
Taste of Coogee festival
With it’s wide array of experiences, the Taste of Coogee festival has become quite the staple on Sydney’s event calendar. The al fresco event will feature a line-up of celebrated local chefs right from Colin Fassnidge and Jason Roberts to Tom Walton and Rowie Dillon.
Highlights of the event also include a return of the ever popular Taste of Coogee Long Lunch — a massive sit-down lunch for a 100 people along with a whiskey and gin masterclasses hosted and sponsored by Bondi Liquor and Whisky Enlightenment. A separate long lunch will be hosted specially for kids by Rowie Dillon at just $30.
You can roam around and explore over eighty food and drink stalls at the event. There are also heaps of rides and activities for kids at the venue so rest assured that the festival caters to everyone.
There are a number of free and ticketed events along with some brilliant live music droning away in the background including Hot Potato Band, Top Shelf Live, Club Sol, Soulganic, Pansuri, Electric Vixen, and more.
Aiming to reconnect with the local community and provide a time of recalibration to all, another incentive to head down is their association with Autism Mates. All proceeds will go in supporting the social initiative that works hard to educate on the importance of inclusion and understanding.
The festival also accepts Dine & Discover vouchers that you can finally put to use after many months of lockdown.
