If you’re tuned into Sydney’s food scene it’s likely that Taste of Coogee has been a fixture on your calendar. The popular culinary event marks a weekend of feasting and fun learning for Sydney gourmands. Launched back in 2013, the festival is gearing up to make a return under a new banner. Now dubbed Taste in the City, the festival embraces it’s roots while including fresh new events, workshops and more.
Expect a lush long lunch, music and all the food and wine over the two-day event. Set to take place at the Entertainment Quarter, the festival is jam packed with events and celebrity chefs participating. Foodies in the crowd can look forward to learning what makes the kitchens of Mindy Woods, Aldo Ortado, Jason Roberts, Tom Walton, and Rowie Dillon so successful. The chefs will also create phenomenal dishes while they’re at it.
With an approach to support the local Australian food and wine community, the festival invites you for a weekend of mulled wine, ciders and food galore. You can look forward to cocktail masterclasses, a Taste in the City long lunch, lobster rolls from Lobster & Co. and heaps more.
