Sydney’s getting a taste of Easter magic early this year as the Ingenia Holiday Parks Sydney Family Easter Show returns to the Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park, from 2nd–19th April 2026.
This year, the city’s favourite family festival celebrates 18 days of colour, community and chocolate—with new attractions, fresh entertainment and a few adorable surprises.
Hunt for the $2,000 Easter Basket

Kids can grab a basket and join Sydney’s Biggest Easter Egg Hunt through the maze, the brand-new headline attraction inviting families to dig into a world of sweet rewards. Every little bunny who takes part goes in the running to win an incredible $2,000 prize package, including a travel voucher courtesy of Ingenia Holiday Parks—turning Easter fun into a family holiday adventure. The collected eggs can also be redeemed for prizes at the end.
Once the long weekend wraps up, the hunt transforms into Belle & Bunny’s Easter Adventure Trail, keeping little explorers entertained right through the school holidays. From there, the fun continues with even more interactive moments for families to enjoy.
“We’re so excited to welcome families back for our biggest and most dynamic Easter Show yet,” said Event Director Britt Osborne. “From giant egg hunts to thrilling entertainment, there’s truly something for everyone.”
And she’s not kidding. This year’s show is bursting with fresh experiences, including the debut of the Outback Jack Stockman Show, where whip-cracking, sheep dogs and rugged horsemanship come together in a uniquely Aussie spectacle that’s part comedy, part country charm.
Familiar Favourites Return At Sydney Family Easter Show

Throw in roaring motorcycle stunt shows, interactive reptile encounters and the return of the Monster Jump inflatable obstacle course, and you’ve got an Easter lineup that’s anything but ordinary.
Of course, no family day out is complete without some well-loved classics, such as the animal nursery packed with baby farm animals, a colourful collection of carnival rides and a wall of show bags sure to tempt kids and nostalgic adults alike.
Meet the Dogs (and Maybe Take One Home)
Families can get up close with some very good boys at the show’s featured dog days. On Sunday, 12th April, Dogs in the Park: Dachshund Day promises a parade of tiny paws and long backs (watch out for the Dachshund Derby!), while Greyhound Adoption Day on Sunday, 19th April offers the chance to meet, pat and even take a four-legged friend home.
Markets, Food & Family Fun

Beyond the rides and shows, families can wander the French Market on Sunday, 5th April or visit the EQ Markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the event. Meanwhile, you can soak in gourmet bites, local makers, and a relaxed market atmosphere—all nestled within Moore Park’s lively entertainment precinct.
With free parking, easy access and plenty of complimentary activities, the show aims to be one of Sydney’s most affordable family events this Easter. As a result, families can enjoy a full day of entertainment without stretching the budget.
“It’s an event that brings families together and celebrates the simple joy of spending time together,” said Matthew Young, Executive General Manager of Tourism at Ingenia Holiday Parks. “We’re proud to help create lasting memories for Sydney families.”
