Greek Festival, Darling Harbour
A day of activity has been planned at Tumbalong Park with festivities kicking off at 10am. Tuck into special Greek pastries like Loukoumades or try some authentic lamb souvlaki and wash it down with some beer. There will also be theatrical and dance performances with Alkistis Protopsalti headlining the entertainment. The Greek singer will take to the stage in the evening for a 7.30pm show.
Other artists performing at the Greek Festival include singer Konstantina Touni and clarino player Tryfonas Anastasiou. Local bands IHO NYX and Mistura will also bring the entertainment with performances scheduled throughout the day. Plus if you love to shop for souvenirs, there’ll be a number of pop-up stalls at the venue including handmade jewllery and homewares. Get the kids along for a bunch of kid-friendly activities and entertainment because there’s something for all attendees to enjoy and experience the Mediterranean lifestyle in Darling Harbour.
