Travelling the world, you see music gigs posted and advertised in every city you visit. Sydney is no different but at Spring Street Social, it is.
The concept behind Spring Street Social is, as Director Andrew Bird writes, ‘Music, Food, Cocktails & Love’. Ask anyone if that’s a winning combination and you’ll get a resounding yes but getting the mix right is the hardest part. Luckily for you, Sydney, they have.

Music is front and centre at Spring Street Social. On Tuesdays between 8pm and 11pm, expect the Sydney Fusion (open)-Jazz Session to get music heads excited and pumped for the rest of the week. Expect a regular cast of musicians and strangers feeling it out and putting on a show. You’re never quite sure what to expect.
But for music lovers who don’t have the musical chops or confidence to get on stage, Wednesdays give you a second, and probably more exciting, reason to go looking for this speakeasy.
All-you-can-eat dumplings!

And it’s not just Wednesdays. It’s Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays too. For just $35 you can sit down and gorge to your heart’s content while your ears enjoy sweet jazz, soul and R’n’B tunes. Or, order from the menu where you’ll find Asian-inspired tapas or plates to share like the DIY Dong Po Pork Belly Bao or the Clay Pot Black Pepper Beef and Potato. But really, are you going to say no to all-you-can-eat dumplings?
And then to wash all that food down? Cocktails, of course. Inspired by 1920s NYC, think remedies and cure-all elixirs like the Spiced Fashion or the Barrel-Aged Negroni. But don’t forget to ask the bartenders for the week’s premium cocktail special. And on Fridays, hip hop and $10 Espresso Martinis (between 9.30pm and midnight) turn the energy up.
