Late trading hours on Thursdays usually means a quick trip to the shopping centre and back but you can now mix things up with a super cool after hours adventure. The Powerhouse has announced the return of Powerhouse Late for an extra dose of culture and fun into your week. On every Thursday night from today, February 3 until June 30, a number of eclectic events will take over the Powerhouse Museum and there are some seriously epic events on the cards.

Unwind after a long day of work with live music from the likes of local legends like Biliirr, Rainbow Chan, Corin, Lachy Doley, JOY, Del Lumanta, POOKIE and more.
February 3 will see a Lunar New Year celebration with an evening of Korean dance, music and workshops. Get on your feet for a K-Pop performance by IMI Dance Studio and get your fashion fix with a fashion show by MiranDay Designs.
Come February 10, get ready to join ceramic artist Sassy Park and National Art School graduates for a live clay modelling demonstration. Graphic design enthusiasts can look forward to an evening of discussion about the graphic design industry. You can also enjoy a hands-on risograph printing workshop if you’re so inclined.
Other highlights
February 24 will see a celebration of Mardi Gras with performances by Sydney group Slaysians, along with film screenings curated by Powerhouse Creative Industries Resident Queer Screen.
Music lovers will want to add April 7 to their calendars with leading contemporary musicians like Ziggy Ramo, Rainbow Chan and Corin set to take the stage by storm.
