Sydney’s Filipino community will come together this weekend for one of Western Sydney’s most vibrant cultural celebrations, with the much-loved Pinoy Made Markets returning to Blacktown Markets for a full day of food, shopping, music and community events.
Powered by Fletch Law, the annual 2026 edition celebrates Philippine Independence Day on 12th June with an unforgettable showcase of Filipino culture, creativity and entrepreneurship, bringing the spirit of the national celebration to life over the weekend through food, music and community.
Visitors can explore a bustling marketplace filled with locally made products, traditional crafts, unique retail offerings and community businesses, all while enjoying the sounds, flavours and spirit of the Philippines.
Shop local at Pinoy Made Markets

Taking over Blacktown Markets on Sunday, 14 June 2026, the event will feature dozens of Filipino-owned stalls showcasing everything from fashion and accessories to jewellery, homewares and handcrafted gifts.
Many of the products draw on traditional Filipino techniques and craftsmanship, giving visitors a chance to discover authentic pieces while directly supporting local makers and entrepreneurs.
The market welcomes both emerging and established businesses, creating a platform for Filipino artisans, designers and small business owners to connect with the wider community.
Certain stalls on the day include Margot’s Kitchen Wave, Sabor Cafecito, Manuy’s Grill, Tito Taco Taqueria, Joaquin’s Freshly Homemade and FiZLD Dirty Sodas.
Filipino food & live entertainment

Food sits at the heart of the celebrations, with vendors serving some of the Philippines’ most iconic dishes. Visitors can enjoy favourites such as adobo, pancit, sisig, sinigang and ihaw-ihaw, alongside desserts including halo-halo and turon.
Whether already familiar with Filipino cuisine or discovering it for the first time, the market offers a direct introduction to one of the world’s most dynamic food cultures.
Beyond food and retail, the event delivers a full entertainment program featuring live performances, games and cultural showcases designed to bring the community together and celebrate Filipino heritage.
What’s happening this year

This year’s Pinoy Made Markets expands its program with huge on-site competitions and community experiences. Additionally, attendees can enter a raffle for the chance to win a 2-night, 3-day trip to the Philippines in Puerto Galera, adding a travel prize element to the day’s festivities.
Himig ng Bayan Singing Competition
What’s a Filipino market without some karaoke? Powered by WorldRemit, the Himig ng Bayan Singing Competition brings rising vocal talent to the stage. Top six finalists from online auditions will perform live, with the winner crowned on the day and awarded $500 cash, plus additional prizes for runners-up.
Finalists will also progress to the WorldRemit “Sending All My Love 2026” karaoke heats competition, extending the opportunity beyond the market stage.
Little Mr. & Ms. Pinoy Made Markets
The event also introduces the Little Mr. & Ms. Pinoy Made Markets pageant, open to children aged 4–10. Participants will compete for cash prizes, gift packs, sashes and certificates in a celebration of confidence and community spirit.
