With Mardi Gras around the corner, Sydney is gearing up to party like never before. To make things even more exciting, Oxtravaganza has announced it’s grand return for 2022. But it’s back with a twist albeit a good one. This time the festivities will be joined by a dazzling new event called the Glittering Mile festival.

Every year Oxtravaganza sees over a 100 businesses joining hands to offer heaps of retail promotions, parties, food and drink deals and a lot more. You can anticipate glittering cabaret shows, alfresco dining and bottomless brunches galore at this lush 2-week fiesta.
Now in it’s sixth year, Oxtravaganza will be taking over Darlinghurst and Kings Cross for an epic celebration.
Highlights include the return of ‘Shop Till You Drop’ day on Oxford St on February 26, which boasts of some brilliant vintage stores, heaps of drag queen costumes and sequins galore.
Foodies can look forward to drag and bottomless brunches with names like The Butler, The Park, Darlinghurst and Lumiere Café participating.
History enthusiasts can look forward to an enlightening conversation with Duncan McNab, exploring the gay hate crimes of the 80’s with History Comes Alive or take in the works of Sydney based photographer Robert Knapmann at a special photography exhibition.
Also in the planner are glamourous performances at The Bambazoole Room and a burlesque dinner and show at The Winery. Over at the East Sydney Hotel in Woolloomooloo 7 artists will create 7 shows of 7-minutes within 7 hotel rooms.
