Vivid Sydney has dropped its huge 2025 program and there’s a lot to be excited about this year. Glowing projections, night markets, live music, thought-provoking conversations will all take centrestage for 23 nights from May 23 to June 14 at the festival of light, ideas, and colour. What is poised to be a sell-out event is Vivid Sydney Dinners, a special culinary experience curated and hosted by food royalty and ‘microwave’ pronunciation expert Nigella Lawson herself. A dinner of this caliber deserves a location to match, which is why the event will be held in the brand-new tunnels beneath Martin Place Metro Station.
Vivid Sydney Dinners
Hosted over three nights, the evening will kick off with an arrival canapé, followed by a delicious three-course feast. Each dish will be prepared in the signature style of the celebrated British cook and showcase the best of NSW’s food and wine scene, from fresh locally sourced produce to premium wines.
Equally exciting is the location — the culinary event will be held in Sydney’s newest underground landmark, the Muru Giligu Tunnel (meaning “Path of Light” in the Sydney language). Bathed in vibrant neon pink and purple hues, this is the first time an event of this scale will be held at the location, making it a Vivid Sydney exclusive. Light, music, and delicious flavours will fill the night at one of Vivid’s biggest events of the year.
The exclusive event will take place across three nights only. Tickets are now on sale but you’ll need to get in fast. Get yours on the Vivid Sydney website.
