Use your vouchers to see the light spectacular transforming Sydney’s Chinese Garden of Friendship.
Update: Due to the lockdown, the NSW Government has once again extended the Dine and Discover program and it will now expire on 31 August.
With the good news that the New South Wales government has extended the Dine and Discover program until the end of August, we’ve got more good news coming from the Fever Originals team who have announced that their Nature Illuminated experience is now accepting the Discover vouchers.
To redeem your Discover voucher and save money on the ticket price, follow these simple steps on the webpage:
- Go to tickets.
- Choose your date and Nature Illuminated session, then click ”Get It” to proceed to payment.
- Add your Discover NSW voucher number to the field marked ”Voucher Code” and click ”Apply”.
- Your voucher will then be redeemed and $25 will be subtracted from your order.
- Proceed to pay any remaining amount of your purchase by adding your payment details and pressing ”Pay Now”.
- Once payment has been processed, you will receive an email confirming the purchase and your tickets will appear in the “Tickets section” of the Fever app.
As per the terms and conditions of the Dine and Discover program set by the NSW government, the vouchers exclude the sale of alcohol meaning you will only be able to redeem the Discover voucher with the Standard Access ticket or the Dining Access ticket.
Furthermore, you can also only use one voucher per transaction per day. In other words, two vouchers do not make $50. Also, if you redeem your voucher but are unable to complete a purchase for any reason, the redemption will be voided and your Discover NSW voucher will be available for use once again! But you might have to wait up to 15 minutes for your voucher to un-redeem itself in the system.
If you haven’t heard, more than 200 stage lights will light up the Chinese Garden of Friendship this July to create a botanical extravaganza reflecting the four seasons of the year. Trees will glow and the reflection pool at the centre of the garden will shimmer with all the colours of the seasons.
The wonderland will also be home to a handful of interactive forest sprites produced by the audio-visual wizards at ENESS. These friendly creatures keep a watchful eye over the garden and its inhabitants while those wandering along the paths will also come face to face with a number of AR activations that will bring to life various elements in the garden including the Dragon Wall.
The extension of the Dine and Discover program comes after news that thousands of vouchers have gone unclaimed. This is despite over 4 million NSW residents downloading the vouchers since they were launched. The idea behind the vouchers was to be able to put money back into the community quickly, which can’t happen if they’re not being used.
Remember, this is free money that can be used for entertainment purposes. So, save your hard-earned cash and use your Discover vouchers to experience the dazzling Nature Illuminated experience taking over Sydney’s Chinese Garden of Friendship from late July.
