Momos are a humble dish but every humble dish deserves its day in the sun.
After three successful years in Melbourne, Momo Fest is crashing Wyatt Park in Lidcombe and serving up to the masses a whole array of soft, gentle, all-consuming flavour Tibetan/Nepalese style dumplings best known as momos. (Featured image: ilovemomofest)
On April 18, expect to find more than 30 varieties on offer, from buffalo, goat, lamb, beef, chicken and pork to vegan and vegetarian options to satiate your appetite. However, momos are best enjoyed as a feast with family and friends, so it’s important that you unite as many loved ones so that you can chow down together.

On the day, there will also be live music from local bands and DJs, kids activities, momo workshops and a momo eating competition because who hasn’t tried to eat as many dumplings as they can before?
Entry to the festival is only $2 and is purchased at the gate. So, no matter how you’re feeling on the day, know that it only takes one tender and juicy momo dumpling to make it better.
