‘Tis the season for hot drinks, comfort films and good food. If you’re in the mood to celebrate Christmas in July, you’ll be happy to know a series of festive screenings are coming to Sydney next month. Manly Open-Air Cinema is turning the summer tradition on its head and hosting an enchanting outdoor movie experience complete with mulled wine, live festive tunes, hot cinnamon doughnuts and some of our favourite Christmas classics. There is even a dreamy northern lights display during the screenings because why not?
Christmas in July at Manly Open-Air Cinema
The Christmassy cinema experience will be held for three nights over the weekend of July 5-7 at Manly Oval with food, drinks and entertainment to boot. As you prepare to watch your favourite festive flick under the stars, indulge in cheesy pizza, spicy paella, handcrafted beers and tasty margaritas. You can also warm up with mulled wine and delicious donuts by OMG! Decadent Donuts.
Plus, look forward to live and festive tunes and a dreamy light display in this cosy mid-winter celebration. There are four sessions to choose from on the following days:
- Ghosts of Girlfriends Past — Friday, July 5 at 7pm
- Elf — Saturday, July 6 at 3pm
- Crazy Stupid Love — Saturday, July 6 at 7pm
- Home Alone — Sunday, July 7 at 5pm
