If you were wondering what the long queue outside the Queen Victoria Building this morning was for, it’s because Lune has finally arrived in Sydney. Ahead of its official opening next year, Melbourne’s famed croissanterie has made an appearance in Sydney and excitement was naturally high.
Lune Pop-Up Sydney
Before Sydneysiders get a taste of the world-famous croissants in 2024, Lune has joined forces with Koko Black for an exclusive pop-up that’s slinging an extra sweet treat for World Chocolate Day from Friday, July 7 to Sunday, July 9. On offer is the Belgian Truffle, a twice-baked croissant with a sinfully gooey Koko Black cocoa frangipane and Guanaja fondant centre. The croissant is garnished with tempered chocolate shards, salted cookie crumb, mascarpone chantilly and Koko Black Belgian Truffles.
You can get your hands on the irresistible treat at selected Koko Black stores and at an exclusive one-off Lune pop-up at the QVB.

Be prepared to line up from 9am on July 8 and 9 at The Strand, Westfield Sydney and the QVB stores and from 10am at the Bondi Junction outpost.
Currently, Lune has permanent stores in Melbourne and Brisbane and the wildly popular croissanterie has announced two stores in Sydney, due to open next year. Lune Sydney, the flagship Lune store, will be located in Oxford Street, Darlinghurst and a second store will open in Martin Place, CBD. The Martin Place store is expected to open in 2024.
