Tickets are on sale for Luna Park in The Dark, an exciting multi-layered journey of discovery by moonlight. Enjoy all the amusement park rides under the stars, as well as many exciting new activities that only appear after hours. Luna Park In The Dark is currently open until June 15 2024 at Luna Park in Darling Harbour. This nighttime escapade will be on for a limited time only, so make sure you grab your tickets soon.
It’s not often that you get to explore an amusement park at night, especially one as full of surprises as Luna Park. With your Dark Pass, you will have access to unlimited rides, as well as all the new experiences inside the park. Rise above the clouds aboard Hair Raiser, glide through the night sky on Volare, or defy gravity on Sledgehammer. While you’re in the air make sure to take a peek at the backdrop of a lit-up Sydney Harbour against the contrasting darkness of Luna Park.
During your visit you can make a stop at Sonic Neon, a family-friendly rave room that converts sound to light or enjoy some classical music by candlelight in Sydney’s new Immersive Big Top. At the Candlelight Concerts you can look forward to Taylor Swift classics like “Love Story”, “Cardigan”, “Blank Space” and many more performed on string instruments. There will be three Candlelight sessions every day in the following time slots:
- 18:30 – 19:15
- 19:30 – 20:15
- 20:30 – 21:15
You will also get to meet the heritage carnival characters of the original Luna Park Sydney, as stilt-walkers, jugglers and mime artists from 1935 roam through the darkness. Make sure you don’t leave the experience before trying some of the glow-in-the-dark treats from the Blacklight Dessert Bar, serving desserts from Tokyo Lamington plus glow fairy floss and soft serve.
The Dark Pass starts at $65 and will give you access to the park from 6pm – 10pm. All ages are welcome at this experience, and we encourage the whole family to see what mischievous happenings they’ll run into in the dark! This after hours experience is only on for a limited time, so make sure you get your tickets before they turn the lights back on.
