A stage production of the hugely anticipated Let The Right One In has finally opened at the Eternity Playhouse. Crafted for stage by Jack Thorne, the show is based on the best-selling novel and film by Swedish writer John Ajvide Lindqvist. This hair-raising vampire thriller comes to Sydney courtesy of the team behind American Psycho at The Hayes.

The story is centered around Oskar, a sensitive and bullied teen living with his mother in a dilapidated apartment building. He strikes up a friendship with his new neighbour Eli who harbours a dark, macabre secret.
Thorne has many accolades under his belt including the TONY Award for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, BBC’s His Dark Materials and the BAFTA for National Treasure. So you can rest assured this won’t be a run-of-the-mill show.
Cast members include Will McDonald (Heartbreak High) as Oskar and Sebrina Thornton-Walker as Eli. The supporting cast includes Stephen Anderton, Eddie Orton, Callan Colley, Monica Sayers, Matthew Whittet and Josh Price.
The coming-of-age story blends romance, suspense, murder and mystery in a dazzling showcase while also deftly addressing deeper themes of isolation and loneliness. You can also expect elements of the supernatural which is fitting given we’re in the middle of spooky season. Let the Right One In is currently playing until November. Grab your tickets while it’s still on.
