Sydney Harbour is set to transform into a twinkling playground this December when the Jolly Market returns to Circular Quay. Running for 11 days this December, the city’s biggest Christmas night market will stretch from Customs House to The Rocks, filling the waterfront with fairy lights, delicious food, and more than 120 local stalls. The event will bring an Aussie spin to classic Christmas celebrations, with balmy summer nights, live music, local wines, and handmade gifts set against the backdrop of the harbour. Here’s everything you need to know.
Jolly Christmas Market, 2025
Back for its third year, the Jolly Market has become a highlight of Sydney’s festive calendar and one of the best Christmas markets in town. This year’s edition promises an even bigger mix of artisan makers, gourmet food, boutique wineries, and live entertainment right by the water.
One of this year’s biggest additions is the Wine & Dine Village, set across Tallawoladah Lawn and First Fleet Park. Bringing together boutique wineries and craft distilleries from across NSW, visitors can look forward to tastings, food pairings and free masterclasses with local makers. Plus, sample everything from small-batch gin to sparkling wine, or unwind with a drink overlooking the harbour.
Each night, the market will also come alive with live jazz, soul and feel-good Christmas tunes. Follow the music and you’ll find pop-up bars, street food stalls and open-air stages decked out with lights and cheerful Christmas decor.
