Nothing screams spring like some smooth and calming live music to help you unwind in the evening. And kicking things off to a soulful start this September, The Concourse in Chatswood is hosting a number of jazz concerts, showcasing some of Sydney’s finest musicians and celebrated Australian voices.
‘Jazz at the Lounge’ is a four-part concert series that will immerse you in the vibrant world of jazz. Hosted in Chatswood’s thriving arts venue, guests will be treated to performances from an array of talented artists, whilst enjoying the chic ambience of The Lounge.

First up on September 5 is extraordinary concert pianist Simon Tedeschi, teaming up with jazz vocalist and violinist George Washingmachine, joined by a six piece band. This stellar ensemble will perform Gershwin classics and jazz standards from legends such as Cole Porter, Count Basie, and more.
On October 10, Australian jazz great Gregg Arthur will be taking guests on a journey through the golden era of jazz, joined by other skilled musicians. Expect to be regaled with hits from the Duke Ellington songbook, from Caravan to Take The A Train.
Marsala, a band renowned for blending musical traditions around the world, will get the audience dancing on November 7 with global rhythms, from Cuban music to Italian jazz, and everything in between.
The fourth and final concert on December 5 will conclude the Jazz at the Lounge series with a show from Parisian singer Hetty Kate. Her captivating voice and undeniable stage presence will leave you utterly enchanted. Joined by a magnificent quartet, Hetty will perform classics and curios from The Great American Songbook and beyond.
