Jazz at The Lounge is returning to Chatswood for 2025, and this year’s lineup is bigger and better than ever. Between March 13 and December 4, ten artists will take to the stage at The Concourse Lounge, bringing you the very best of live jazz.

1. Greg Arthur & Warwick Alder play Chet Baker – Thursday March 13, 7:30pm
Jazz vocalist Gregg Arthur and trumpeter Warwick Alder are joining forces to give their take on the legendary Chet Baker’s songbook. Accompanied by a lineup of jazz royalty: Peter Locke on piano, Craig Scott on Bass and Andrew Dickeson on drums, this performance promises to be nothing short of magnificent
2. Marsala World Music – Thursday April 3, 7:30pm
Marsala have been delighting audiences with their unique sound in venues all over the world for over 25 years, and their spectacular 2024 Jazz at The Lounge performance certainly left the people of Chatswood wanting more. This year, they’re back accompanied by special guest vocalist Viktoria Bolonina, whose career has spanned the opera stage to The Voice.
3. Dan Barnett Big Band – Thursday May 8, 7:30pm
Accompanied by a remarkable fourteen piece band of top shelf musicians, singer and trombonist Dan Barnett are known for both performing timeless classics with perfection, and infusing old favourites with fun twists. From Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles to Duke Ellington and Count Basie, you can expect to hear renditions of some of the greatest names in jazz
4. Andrew Dickeson: Celebrating Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers – Thursday June 5, 7:30pm
If a night of foot-tapping swing is what you’re searching for, then you’ll not be disappointed with Andrew Dickeson’s celebration of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. Joined by four of Australia’s finest, Andrew will bring soulful sounds to The Concourse Lounge, in honour of this iconic band.
5. Nicki Parrott Trio – Thursday July 3, 7:30pm
Enjoy a tribute to the legendary women of jazz from internationally acclaimed vocalist and bassist Nicki Parrott. Joined by Peter Locke on piano and Andrew Dickeson on drums, Nicki will bring her own signature warmth to the timeless melodies of Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day, Peggy Lee and Dinah Washington.
6. An Evening with the James Morrison Quartet – Thursday August 21, 7:30pm
Recognised globally as one of the finest jazz players of his generation, James Morrison has been playing professionally since the age of 13. His remarkable career has put him on stage next to the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock, and even performing in a private concert for the President and First Lady of the United States. Experience the artistry of this talented multi-instrumentalist in a wonderfully intimate evening at The Concourse Lounge.
7. Emma Pask with her Jazz Trio Band – Thursday September 4, 7:30pm
Having toured the world as a member of James Morrison’s band for 20 years, Emma Pask has more than earned her stripes as one of Australia’s favourite voices in jazz. Those who hold dear the classic era of jazz will love her spellbinding vocals and effortless stage presence, which have made her an award-winning artist.
8. Gregg Arthur: Up Close – Thursday October 2, 7:30pm
Settle in for an evening of original award-winning compositions, alongside favourite jazz standards from Greg Arthur’s biggest musical inspirations. Praised by his idols ans revered by his contemporaries, Greg Arthur is seen to be following in the footsteps of Frank Sinatra, Mel Tormé and Tony Bennett.
9. Hetty Kate: Spring – Thursday November 13, 7:30pm
Celebrate the arrival of spring with jazz vocalist Hetty Kate, whose newest release is a collection of songs embodying the season of renewal by Duke Ellington, Frank Loesser, Tommy Wolf and more. Having toured internationally for over two decades, Kate is bringing her breezy vocals to The Concourse Lounge, along with a brilliant quartet line-up.
10. Tedeschi – Jodrell – Undy: The Great American Songbook – Thursday December 4, 7:30pm
After a decade of lighting up New York’s jazz scene, trumpeter Matt Jodrell has teamed up with two other phenomenal talents, pianist Simon Tedeschi and bassist Cameron Undy to take you on an unforgettable jazz journey. Don’t miss the chance to see this powerhouse trio!
