After beating streaming records and the sold-out candlelit concert at St Mary’s Church, Marylebone in London for the release of his third and latest album ‘Soundtrack’, he’s finally heading to Australia for the first time ever.
In Sydney, the highly anticipated show will take place at St Stephen’s Uniting Church on Thursday, 13 November, marking a major moment for his Sydneysider fans and aspiring songwriters.
The Star Behind “When You Love Someone”
James Taylor-Watts, more commonly known as James TW, is a self-taught singer and songwriter, who after launching his YouTube channel, was discovered by Shawn Mendes at the age of 17. His debut EP ‘First Impressions’ catapulted him into fame with the success of “When You Love Someone”, a heartfelt song about divorce told from the perspective of parents.
The song earned more than 60 million Spotify streams and charted at #28 on Billboard’s Adult Pop Songs chart. With four Platinum certifications and global hits like “You & Me” or “Speechless”, The English artist is a rising force in contemporary pop/songwriter music.

Taking place at the historic St Stephen’s Uniting Church, the 60-minute performance will feature some of the artist’s most iconic hits through the years, including new releases from his latest album like ‘If She Says Yes’. However, the conclusive setlist is yet to be announced.
Located in the city’s Central Business District, the Gothic Revival-style church provides the ideal backdrop to this intimate show.
